I had a great session last weekend! My very very good friend had a beautiful baby girl and she asked me to do her newborn photographs. It was such a fun night. I really had a rough day, so a little photo therapy was just what the doctor ordered that night. It was great to just chat and hand out while working on the session. NOT TO MENTION that her baby is gorgeous. She couldn't have been more mellow and perfect. Thank you for a great evening guys! It was such a pleasure for you to share your little bundle with me for a bit!

3 Months {Saint George, Utah Photographer}

Say hello to the smallest man in my life. For such a little guy, he sure takes up a HUGE space in my heart. He is such a sweet baby. You can feel that his little Spirit came to us straight from Heaven when he smiles. Davis, also known as Baby Babis, Little Man, and Baby, has already changed our lives for the better. We are so blessed to have him in our family and home. He was in a particularly good mood today, so we had an impromptu mini session using window light on a cloudy day. (Who's idea was that??) Despite the lack of light, I think they turned out okay. It must be the perfect subject that overtakes the technical flaws. Love you Babis!

My goodness. I love pink and bows and all things girly. I had a lot of fun doing this shoot and my Mason hasn't stopped asking for a baby sister since! ;) Here are a few of my favorites from the day. Pretty girl and pretty Momma!

Two Men and a Little Lady {Saint George, Utah Newborn and Child Photographer}

I know 3 things about this little girl.
#1 She has the CUTEST little baby nose I've ever seen.
#2 She LOVES her Mamma.
#3 She DOES NOT love my big bright lights!!
She was perfectly happy for our session. . . . As long as she was cuddled up with her Mommy and I didn't flash her with the lights. Ha ha ha. Can you blame her?? And big brothers were there to take great care of her. The younger one was the FUNNIEST about the monkey I have in my camera. (Let me know if you haven't met my monkey. I'd be glad to introduce you.) Thanks for letting me take pictures of your beautiful baby. It really was a pleasure. PS Kristi you are GORGEOUS!!

Another Darling Family {Moab, Utah Family Photographer}

Christmas at our house has been so much fun. We've slept in until at least 10:00 every morning and spent the days playing with the kids and editing photos. We may be poor school teachers, but it pays off on weeks like this! I love my little family.

Here is another family I photographed Thanksgiving weekend. I cannot believe how well behaved their kiddos were! And super cute too. It was so much fun. I have three more families to do from this shoot AND the GREAT BIG group shots to go through. I promise I will get them ALL finished before school starts again! Thanks guys for a great day!

The Winners!

So I had a contest on facebook when I was designing my new logo. If you voted you were entered to win a FREE session. I was so happy when this darling girl won!! She was pregnant and I hoped I would get to get a few shots of her new little one. It was a girl and not only did I get to take her picture, but her BEAUTIFUL cousins and aunts got to come too!! I don't think I should take on any newborn baby girl clients for a while. I NEED A GIRL!!!! I love my boys, but there is something about the pink and the bows and the ruffly bum tights!! Baby M made this even WORSE because she was so pretty and well manored. Thank you guys so much for a GREAT afternoon!! You have a darling family.

I have seen this before and thought it was darling, so I had to try it on my own One-Year-Old! (Okay, so he's not one until next Wednesday, but close enough.) It was really fun. I used my new studio lights and I think they turned out okay. I am still figuring them out and have had some less than successful results. I think I'm getting better though. I think I'm going to like using the lights once I get them figured out. These pictures needed almost no editing! Happy birthday to my baby boy!! If anyone wants trash the cake pictures, let me know! ;)

Baby Girl

This little one was a lot of fun with her big blue eyes and happy laugh. Thanks so much for letting me do these photos! The white dress was made by her grandma and the yellow dress was made by her great great grandma. Kind of neat!!
